Our footage and stories from Kibuye would not be possible without Yvonne and her two sisters, Claire and Kayihura.  As we walked several miles through ankle-deep mud, Yvonne explained the commemoration and her own personal story.  At the event itself, the three sisters guided us through the ceremony, translating and explaining each component.  The following morning, they joined their father (pictured above) in burying the bones of family members who had died, as well as thousands of others who were discovered in mass graves this year.
